R&D project “Industry 4.0 – Smart services and smart assets for the smart industry park” successfully completed

COSMO CONSULT TIC GmbH and the Fraunhofer IFF successfully completed the joint R&D project “Industry 4.0 – Smart Services and Smart Assets for the Smart Industry Park” funded by the European Union in March 2021.

The project developed and integrated new business models and new services with the use of the latest IoT and IT technologies for smart assets – smart objects in a smart chemical park.
The focus was not on developing new sensors, but on adapting already available technologies, e.g. from the smart city environment, to the industrial/chemical park environment, researching, developing, evaluating and piloting new services.

The final report with the results of the project was handed over to the Investment Bank of Saxony-Anhalt.
